Why this test?
This test determines whether there is a current or past infection by the dengue virus. It evaluates the presence of NS1 antigen and IgM/IgG antibodies, providing key information for diagnosis and patient follow-up. It is indicated for patients living in or who have traveled to endemic areas for the transmitting vector, as well as those showing symptoms such as severe headache, fever, retro-orbital pain, muscle pain, or extreme fatigue.
